LEED

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It's the nationally recognized standard for measuring how energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings are. The U.S. Green Building Council runs the LEED program, which gives building owners and operators a clear way to track and improve their building's energy performance.

LEED uses different rating systems depending on the type of project: new commercial construction, commercial interiors, commercial core and shell, existing commercial buildings, and new residential homes.
